New for 2021! JHM silicone cap kit at less than half the price of our OEM cap kit.;
These are high quality JHM Silicone caps needed to remove the Auxiliary Radiator from a B6-B7 S4 (also supplied in our oil cooler kit). We tried other non OEM caps during the development of our Auxiliary Delete Kit in 2008 and 2009 and they did not hold up like the JHM ones that last as long as any factory hose or cap would.
This kit consists of 2 x High quality stainless steel Norma clamps, 1 x JHM 19mm (3/4″) large cap for the upper radiator hose fitting to aux radiator and 1 x JHM 16mm (5/8″) small cap for the block fitting which normally attaches to the hose that goes to the oil cooler on the block
This kit can be used to delete the discontinued aux radiator thermostat 8E0121055M and the aux radiator. We see these thermostats stick open and cause coolant temps to never warm up fully when the 8E0121055M thermostat fails.
NOTE: JHM does not recommend removal of the factory oil cooler completely since that is a downgrade from factory performance. We recommend running OEM or our upgraded oil cooler we sell in our Supercharger Kit or Aux Delete Kit . However we understand that some customers now do not plan on road racing their cars so the cost of fixing OEM or running our kit is not justified. This is why we are offering this product based on customer demand. Additionally, this is also a way to get our supercharger kit at a lower cost (Buy these and select that you already have our oil cooler when you order our SC Kit.)
